Definition of cookies
A cookie is a small text file sent by the website and stored on your web browser. It contains a certain quantity of information and a time stamp. The web browser saves the information on your computer and sends it back to the website each time a request is made for pages/images from the website.
Two types of cookie
Cookies on this website are used to improve the user’s experience and to optimise the website. There are two types of cookie:
The first type, called a permanent cookie, saves a file, which remains on the user’s computer. It is used, for example, to tailor a website to the wishes, choices and interests of the user, and for statistical purposes.
The other type is called a session cookie. It is stored temporarily in the user’s computer memory while he or she is visiting a website. Session cookies disappear when you close your web browser. Our website uses both session cookies and permanent cookies. Whichever type of cookie is used on this website, no personal information about the user (such as e-mail address or name) is saved.
